Shape of My Heart™

Due to a job here in Kota Bahru, I was given a chance to travel up and away from the hustle bustle KL to this rather quiet city in the north east, the most exciting things for this trip is no other than flying on the props. Firefly received their first ATR72 last week and I was hoping to be able to hop on it but we ended up in the F50 anyway.

A small complaint is that firefly seems to reschedule their KBR flight and we're not informed! Kind of frustrating to find out that your flight actually departs an hour later than the one you booked and you're not able to check-in until 1 and a half hour prior to flight..... wasting time!

Now that I've experienced firefly's F50, remain hopeful for the new ATR72 on my return flight.... :)

Although I've been to quite a number of weddings, TK's one is something different, at least to me... A first time for me to attend Malay-Chinese Wedding, thou we went to the chinese side to bring out the chinaman side of us...

It was a tiring drive up in the wee hour, couldn't get myself to nap before we start our journey at 1.30am.... was supposed to pick up our friend Raymond aka LaoWu from Juru at 5.30am, but when we arrived...... so he have to figure his way to Gurney when his bus finally arrive in Penang, and we went ahead for FOOD of course.

Good morning Penang, a hazy morning.... ah kong greeted us with his sexy pose :P Then we went to Gurney Hotel, where the tea ceremony will be held.

Before we can start the ceremony, we must help TK to go thru the chinaman way....

And then finally...

After that was the tea ceremony, which is the common one, so after the lunch at the hotel..... its time for us to get back and get the necessary rest back in B-Suite, our favorite choice of Hotel for staying in Penang.... I was so tired and knocked off straight away...

I am going up north to Penang again, the 5th time in 2 months! This time, not for work... and not really for spotting... but

Had a relaxed 120km drive on the East Coast Expressway today, maybe because I am fully recharged after the Kuantan Trip yesterday, or because its not a working trip. I don't really know! All I know is that I am frustrated and exhausted over the past few weeks. And I feel good to be back!
